After beginning his career in the public sector, advising judges and ministers at the Federal District Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Supreme Federal Court, Alan worked as a lawyer in the tax litigation area at one of the country’s major law firms and in specialized agribusiness litigation at his own firm, Advocacia Flores Viana.
A partner at MJAB since 2017, Alan has also been engaged in advocacy in recent years, dealing with a wide range of issues, from fiscal, tax, and regulatory matters to agribusiness, electronic games, startups, sports, and entertainment, practicing the multidisciplinary approach of Legal Advocacy.
Graduated from UNICEUB – Centro Universitário de Brasília in 2015, with a specialization in Tax Law from IBET – Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários and an MBE in Energy from PUC/RJ – Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, he is considered a specialist in negotiation, mediation, and conciliation procedures with Public Administration bodies. He is also a director member of SHE – Sustainable Humanitarian Empowerment, a permanent member of the Tax Affairs and Reform Committee of the OAB/DF since August 2016, and one of the founding members of the Instituto Brasileiro de Arbitragem Tributária (IBAT).
